Weight limits
Official ITA Airways information indicates 12 kg for domestic cabin travel and 8 kg for international cabin travel, including carrier and food.
Large dogs: up to 30 kg from 3 August 2026
With the Large Dog On Board service, live from 3 August 2026 on a selection of domestic flights, ITA Airways accepts dogs up to 30 kg in the cabin outside a carrier. Maximum two dogs per flight, Crash Tested harness required, request to the CIAO Contact Center at least 4 days ahead, and two tickets plus a 95 EUR fee.
